In most cases treatments such as icing, stretching, and custom orthotics will reduce the pain. If the pain does not subside, more aggressive treatments may be prescribed including cortisone injections and MLS Laser Therapy. Surgery may be considered as a last resort for severe cases.

Plantar Fasciitis is a common source of heel pain. The plantar fascia is tissue connecting the base of the foot to the back of the heel.
